Workers horrified by the murder of seven-year-old Athena Strand, who was snatched by FedEx driver Tanner Horner, have paid tribute to the little girl online.

Athena Strand's casket was painted with her favorite color and had a princess crown with rhinestones at the top with her picture inside the lid.

"Sorry that's my dog now," a TikToker wrote of the pet joining the delivery driver, as another said "the dog was like, 'you stay here I will deliver the rest.'"

"Thanks to the Amazon worker that put a little positivity out to the world that day," said the Redditor who received the note.

"Package theft can have a significant impact on people and is more than just a nuisance or minor inconvenience," SimpliSafe's Brenda Bynarowicz told Newsweek.

Derek Riddle told Newsweek he asked the delivery man to pose as "a joke" knowing his wife's colleague was watching.

The rules around tipping waiting staff are clear; if only the protocols for delivery drivers were so apparent. Newsweek looks into the issue.

The alleged incident was captured by a Ring Doorbell camera as the driver ran to the car with the box in his hand after picking it up from the front doorstep.

"As a former delivery driver, I hope you tip really well," said one commenter on the viral Reddit post.

"Mr. Fantastic uses DoorDash? I'd have thought he'd be able to reach," joked one commenter on the viral post.

"Y'all wonder why your staff is always a revolving door," the purported driver wrote in his TikTok video.

Coming out of the elevator with a bag of food, delivery after delivery ends up heading straight into the wall.

The victim was airlifted to a trauma center to receive medical attention for his non-life-threatening injuries.

The delivery company condemned the driver's actions in a statement to Newsweek, calling it "unacceptable and inconsistent with the professionalism" of FedEx.

After seeing what the homeowner had left for them, the delivery drivers were happy to take her bed to back of the house, despite her not being there.

Police have not taken anyone into custody, but have information linking a potential suspect.

The driver's hilarious reaction to the mishap has been viewed almost 6 million times after a doorbell camera captured the moment.

"This glitch is worse than when Majora's mask would freeze," DoorDash's Help account tweeted in response.

"I love seeing adults do the same motions I see kids do when they get excited about something," a TikTok user commented about the viral video.
