"She did, in fact, invite me to be on the committee. So, I don't think that this is a snub," the New York congresswoman said.
The president said he was "alarmed by new calls to adopt socialism in our country."
"You are the nominee to be head of the Environmental Protection Agency. You just, in your opening statement, did not mention the words 'climate change,'" said Sanders.
