Thousands of protesters gathered near the state capitol in Lansing, Michigan to voice their opposition to the stay-at-home order issued by Whitmer in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Residents filed a lawsuit claiming the restrictions imposed by the stay-at-home order violate their constitutional rights.

"The supply chain is absolutely broken," Dr. Megan Ranney said.

"This is good news for Michiganders everywhere who are worried about COVID-19's impact on their community," Whitmer wrote Monday.
