Two-year-old rescue cat Pedro Pspspscal has found his forever home after gaining viral attention for his inventive name.

"Jerry is a sweet cat that loves to be petted and rub up against you, but his former owner said it annoyed her too much," Susan Leonti from The Humane Society of Broward County told Newsweek.

The 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix has now found a foster home, thanks to a humane society in Texas and a Facebook appeal, after suffering serious injuries.

"It takes time, money, resources, and a lot of love but we will never give up on them," said Rachel Delport of Greenville Humane Society.

Skylar, the viral golden retriever, now has the internet begging the owners to make some eggs.

Videos of the incident have been shared on TikTok by witnesses at the zoo, with one showing the dog running from the chasing gorillas.

"It's appalling and it's heartbreaking," said a sheriff. "This is someone who was entrusted by the community to care for these animals."

"Those babies deserve a better life," said one commenter.
