This week's Pet of the Week is ginger cat Bobcat, who has been the star of films entered into the New York Cat Film Festival.

The video creator said the cat was picked up by an animal shelter with hopes of finding its home.

Though the woman told Newsweek that she thought the message he sent her was "hilarious", her dad was "freaked out" when he heard about it.

"This cracks me up! That ole' cat torturing poor lil Donut," one user wrote under the post. "Cat is having fun scaring you," added another.

"This is the most beagle thing I've seen on the internet," one user commented, while another wrote: "Why can't my pets ever bring me a BBQ chook?"

"Why was I not invited?" one user commented under the post, while another wrote: "What do you mean his ONE little friend?! I'll be his little friend!"

"This is probably one of the sweetest videos ever," said one commenter on the viral TikTok video.

"The eight-hour workday no longer has as much relevance in the corporate world," Gabrielle Judge, founder of The Anti Work Girlboss told Newsweek.

"We had an instant bond and understanding," the dog's loving owner told Newsweek.

"Parents having 'favorites' may be taboo, but it's common—and it's no different than us preferring some of our friends over others," a life coach told Newsweek.

"Why do dogs act like we never feed them," one user joked in the comments section below the post of the trash-happy puppy.

The British charity Dogs Trust says owners must be mindful of how they pick up their dogs. Their pets "can't move away as easily from something worrying them."

After ringing up the book to buy for her children, the Texas mom was stunned when she was told she could not purchase it from Target.

"That still is worth some serious bucks for parts alone," said one Reddit user who saw the pictures of the classic car.

"It seems your 3rd dog is trapped in the neighbors yard," one user joked in the comments section under the post.

The woman told Newsweek that her friend is planning to sue her for vet fees, and that she'll countersue her for damages if she does.

"Ellie's grief conversations have helped me to revisit my grief in a gentle way," her owner told Newsweek.

With four cats that have hugely differing personalities, one owner came up with the perfect way to ensure they're all understood.

While metal detecting at Civil War stronghold Fort Caswell, Tentis Moore was stunned to stumble on the remnants of military action.

Autumn wasn't best pleased about her trip to the vet and quickly devised a way to go unnoticed.

"This was premeditated," one TikTok user wrote under the posted video.

The cats found an unusual hiding place in the kitchen.

While visible blue light from screens cannot cause cancers, it could be having a negative impact on skin health.

"Avoid making eye contact so they don't know you're awake," one TikTok user joked in the comments section under the post.

"Are you sure it's lunch and not a pet?" asked one commenter on the viral Reddit post.

Madison Stroup, the dog's co-owner, told Newsweek how she surprised her husband with a visit from their golden retriever: "It gave him strength to keep going."

Viewed over 3.5 million times, people online are very impressed with this unusual crossbred puppy.

A Redditor tried to justify why she was unwilling to make space for other passengers to sit down but was criticised and called rude.

"My heart skipped a beat when she went out the window," responded one user on TikTok.

"In the video, my cat George wasn't listening to me so I tried to get his attention and we ended up in a literal cat fight," the owner told Newsweek.
