An online spat has broken out between the congresswoman and the presidential counselor over the former's reporting on dire conditions at migrant detention centers.

"How many migrant women did @AOC help by voting AGAINST the $4.6 billion bipartisan humanitarian aid that is FOR THEM?" Conway tweeted.

"President Obama was handed the Nobel Peace Prize, but President Trump is on his way to actually earning one," Conway said.

Kellyanne Conway is the biggest Hatch Act offender, but more than a dozen other Trump administration officials are accused of breaking the federal law.

When questioning a Trump-appointee who suggested Conway be fired for ethics law violations, Republicans appeared to repeatedly misinterpret the Hatch Act.

Kellyanne Conway violated the Hatch Act more than a dozen times, the Office of the Special Counsel noted. There were just two violations during the eight years of the Obama administration.

The watchdog Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington collected more than 34,000 petition signatures to submit to Congress.

"If I'm talking about the failures of Obama-Bidencare, if I'm talking about the fact that 28 million Americans have no health insurance, that's a fact," Conway argued.

"The nice part is I don't need to worry about buying a location," the president said about a possible presidential library.

Ivanka Trump "knows it's against the law" to promote "Make America Great Again" in her official capacity "but she did it anyway, even after the unprecedented Conway decision," a spokesman for the watchdog said.

Republican Senator Joni Ernst may not have heard President Donald Trump say he would not fire Conway for Hatch Act violations.

Kushner has been "engaging in prohibited campaign fundraising activities," Democrats alleged in demanding an investigation.

The petition's launch came after an official federal watchdog recommended that Conway be removed from her post, citing violations of The Hatch Act.

"I'm not going to fire her," Trump said. "It looks to me like they're trying to take away her right to free speech."

"Donald Trump may not like it, but we are not an authoritarian country," Sanders tweeted. "The OSC recommendation is very clear."

Conway's actions "erode the principal foundation of our democratic system—the rule of law," the Office of Special Counsel's letter states.
