Steven Reed made history Tuesday when he was sworn in as the 57th and first black mayor of Montgomery, Alabama, a city with deep ties to the civil rights movement.
Anti-abortion activists celebrated Alabama's decision to effectively ban nearly all forms of abortions last week by rallying at the Alabama Capitol building in Montgomery.
