North Korea summit

President Donald Trump's approval rating took a serious blow this week, after reaching new highs following his North Korea summit on June 12.

"We're here now," the president said. "Why can't we just do it?"

Colonel Robert Brodie said his troops are preparing for war regardless of the thaw in U.S.–North Korean relations.

The president proudly displayed the armored "Beast" limousine as the pair strolled around the Capella Hotel in Singapore.

The U.S. president said he looked forward to lifting sanctions on North Korea.

President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un have agreed to build a "lasting and stable peace regime."

Foreign policy experts worry the president is unprepared for his historic meeting with the North Korean leader.

A foreign ministry spokesman said Americans are known for "quitting treaties and violating their commitments."

The president landed in Singapore on Sunday.

"I think it's a bad idea in any country to break into ambassador's residences," said a Singapore government minister.

The North Korean leader's arrival in Singapore drew crowds.

The vice president suggested all of Trump's life was building up to next week's meeting with Kim.

The sports star is expected to be in Singapore at the time of the Trump-Kim summit.

If Trump insists on meeting, he must be prepared either to agree to a long negotiating process that will play into Kim's hands, or to admit failure, and consider military force.
