This latest period of turmoil began late Friday night, when the NRA filed an amended complaint in the group's ongoing lawsuit against Ackerman McQueen in federal court in Dallas.
Firebrand anchor Dana Loesch made a number of incendiary remarks while appearing on NRATV.
The National Rifle Association will shut down production of NRATV on Wednesday, according to The New York Times.
"It is an outrageous proposal, it is an anti-freedom proposal and it is persecution," the NRATV host said.
"There is nothing toxic about masculinity, but there are plenty of toxic things about third-wave feminism."
Dana Loesch claimed the media uses the term "mass shooting" to keep the focus on weapons.
The NRA claimed that "gun-hating billionaires and Hollywood elites" are exploiting children.
