One Trump ally said administration officials are preparing for a "subpoena blizzard" as House Democrats launch their long-promised oversight investigations into everything from the president's taxes to corruption allegations.
The 25th Amendment allows for a complicated process to remove a president from office.
"I will say that today changed everything," Omarosa Manigault Newman said.

A host on Trump's favorite morning show said the president has only served to help his former aide sell books.
Research has shown that the language of male dominated societies reveals the desire to control and discipline the behavior of women.
"I'm telling you that I'm disappointed, and I think the best play for Omarosa would have been to take credit for a lot of the great things that Donald Trump has done," Conway dodged.
The fired aide says she did not sign a nondisclosure agreement as part of her White House duties, but a campaign official says she will be held accountable for a 2016 agreement.
"I'm just so sad because, what an incredible opportunity she wasted," Lara Trump said of Omarosa.

Trump said that he was warned that Omarosa was a "loser," but that he kept her on because she said "great" things about him.
The White House slammed the book, saying it was filled with lies.
The revelations come in "Unhinged: An Insider Account of the Trump White House."
Omarosa spoke about campaigning for Clinton before joining Trump's bid for election.
