Having lost my daughter in the Parkland shooting, I am all too well aware of who is trying to stop gun violence and who isn't. "Do-nothing" Democrats is a slur, especially coming from the men blocking gun safety laws.
Andrew Pollack, father of Parkland shooting victim, Meadow Pollack, voiced his objections over her image being used by the "March For Our Lives" movement, which was started by survivors of the same massacre.
Kyle Kashuv, who has become a gun-rights activist after surviving the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, confronted Scot Peterson, the school's former resource officer, before a deposition.
"Until laws are passed and looked at from a nonpartisan perspective, things aren't going to change," Sarah Lerner, an English and journalism teacher at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, told Newsweek.
"One post threatened to kidnap the message recipients, while others sought to harass the recipients by repeatedly taunting the relatives and friends of the MSD victims, cheering the deaths of their loved ones."
