The National Institute of Health estimates that one in seven men will be diagnosed with the disease at some point in their lives.
The test can also quickly detect if prostate cancer is evolving genetically and might be becoming drug-resistant.
'We think this is one of the biggest survival benefits ever reported in a trial of an adult solid tumor,' said one expert.
"Pudgy" men are more attractive to women and less likely to get cancer, according to a study.
