"We're getting some indications of his personality through his online persona, but we need to understand him offline as well," Kathy Canning-Mello said.

"Life as he knows it is over," said Larry Levine, who predicted that Kohberger is now "replaying everything in his head" about the murders.

The Harborview Medical Center confirmed the woman was alive and being treated.

Critics argue that the roommate, Dylan Mortensen, should have called police immediately after encountering an unknown person in the Moscow, Idaho, home.

Steve Goncalves had formerly criticized police involved in the investigation, who had previously released limited information about the case.

A probable cause affidavit in the arrest of Kohberger was released Thursday, providing new evidence into how police determined he was their suspect.

Kohberger's lawyer in Pennsylvania prior to his extradition said that his client was looking forward to being "exonerated."

Maps of Kohberger's alleged movements in the time surrounding the killings were included in a newly unsealed affidavit.

Bryan Kohberger was arrested on charges including four counts of murder in the first degree, although his previous lawyer said he's "eager to be exonerated."

People "need to be supportive, not jump to conclusions and respect this family's right to privacy," Kerri Rawson told Newsweek.

Kohberger's attorney said he plans to fight the charges against him, while law enforcement official said they are confident he was responsible for the murders.

The SWAT team had a strategic reason for arresting suspect Bryan Kohberger so early in the morning, an expert told Newsweek on Saturday.

"Bryan was incredibly smart and talked about things that impassioned him, but there had been something off about him," a former classmate said.
