The seven-day rolling average of daily COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations in Utah has been rising sharply since early September.
The latest blazes, including the Creek Fire, Valley Fire and El Dorado Fire, have collectively burned tens of thousands of acres, while thousands of residents have been evacuated.
"What we have seen play out over the last two nights and many nights this year is the pain, anguish, and exhaustion of being Black in our state and country," Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers said.
California's wildfires prompted Governor Gavin Newsom to cancel a planned appearance at Thursday's Democratic National Convention.
Governor Brian Kemp's executive orders extend current restrictions and orders regarding the coronavirus. While he does encourage people to wear masks, it is not a requirement.
"Florida Department of Health representatives will however no longer screen arriving passengers," according to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
Governor Bill Lee's executive order does not mandate wearing face masks statewide, although both Nashville and Memphis have already enacted their own mandates.
The coronavirus outbreak and recent flooding have meant fewer people are providing much-needed donations.
"The Michigan GOP is wasting the court's time and the taxpayer's dime," said MDP chair Lavora Barnes in a Wednesday statement.
"I remain hopeful that Republicans in the legislature will stop the partisan games and start working with me to re-engage our economy safely and responsibly," Whitmer said.
"This is not how anyone wants to celebrate Easter Sunday," Mississippi Governor Tates Reeves said.
Residents of Georgia and Mississippi are expected on Friday to join millions of others across the U.S. under orders to stay at home to help stem the spread of COVID-19.
Gov. J.B. Pritzker said the shelter in place order was the "only strategy available" to "mitigate the spread" of COVID-19 in Illinois.
San Francisco and several surrounding areas began a "shelter in place" directive on Tuesday and New York City was said to be considering a similar move within the next 48 hours.
There are affirmative steps consumers can take to cancel or modify their pre-existing membership agreements with gyms because of the coronavirus.
Alabama, Idaho and Montana all announced their first cases of COVID-19 coronavirus Friday, leaving West Virginia the only state without any confirmed cases.
"Responding to this evolving health threat requires everyone to be vigilant and for everyone to be part of this effort," Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker said Tuesday.
As the COVID-19 continues to spread across the U.S., eight states have declared a state of emergency to try and combat the virus.
"We will do everything in our power to keep Oregonians safe," Governor Kate Brown said.
Cuomo took aim at the Trump administration and the U.S. Congress for what he described as a failure to support New York's public health response.
"The State of California is deploying every level of government to help identify cases and slow the spread of this coronavirus," Governor Newsom said Wednesday.

More than 72 percent of California's wildfires are contained, but responders still have tens of thousands of acres to neutralize as of Saturday.
Several fires are currently raging in various parts of the state.
"Trees are falling, visibility is very very poor, we cannot see far more than [six feet]," one humanitarian worker said.
"[The Klamathon Fire has] destroyed structures, threatened homes and critical infrastructure and caused the evacuation of residents," said California Governor Edmund G. Brown.
