Democratic divisions over Biden's agenda did no favors for Terry McAuliffe in a state where Democrats have typically won elections by campaigning on pragmatism and an ability to deliver results.
"Glenn Youngkin touched a nerve that was felt in Virginia but frankly felt all over the country," the Democrat said amid recent Republican election gains.
The Maryland governor warned that the former president may "hurt" Republicans by backing "unelectable" candidates in swing districts.
The former Democratic congresswoman said that the party's leaders aren't listening to "what parents are concerned about."
"We're talking about kids who seem to be too young sometimes to fully appreciate all this," the 'Real Time' host said Friday.
