North Korea fired two missiles into the sea off its eastern coast on Thursday as denuclearization negotiations with the U.S. remain stalled.
Pyongyang tested the Pukguksong-3 ballistic missile on Wednesday, ahead of the resumption of disarmament talks with the U.S. this weekend.
The Korean Central News Agency said that Wednesday's test was of "great significance" and involved a Pukguksong-3 missile.
The test came just one day after the North announced it would resume denuclearization talks with the U.S. this weekend.
Petro Poroshenko agreed in August to take a lie detector test but said he did not trust that investigators would be unbiased.
Two short-range ballistic missiles were launched on Wednesday in North Korea's second such test in less than a week.
The latest test is sure to increase tensions as Pyongyang and Washington attempt to restart talks on denuclearization and sanctions relief.
"She came down in tears, saying 'The rumor is true. I took a fake test," said the mother of one student at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach.
"I'll leave that for you to decide," acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan told Fox News, failing to confirm or deny Russian involvement in North Korea's weapons programs.
The flu is easy to give to others and some people stay contagious for more than a week.
A Georgia Bureau of Investigation report later found that the substance was the sugary treat.
The Korean State News Agency did not say what kind of weapon was tested, but noted Kim Jong Un was "so excited."
