Thomas Homan also argued that Democrats are only against the border wall because they want to see Trump fail.

Former acting director of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, Thomas Homan, is set to be honored at a conference organized by ACT for America.

"Those jobs, they take a toll on your body and on a person, so he has earned the right to retire, regardless of what you think of his particular policies," a former ICE official said of Homan.

The Southern Poverty Law Center has condemned the Center for Immigration Studies.

"I'm leaving for the right reasons—to spend more time with my wife and kids," Homan, the acting director of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, said.

ICE Acting Director Thomas Homan refuted claims his agency is "terrorizing communities."

"I would think that the Oakland mayor and the Congressional representatives in California would send me letters thanking me for removing public safety threats."

Homan wants to see politicians who promote sanctuary status charged with crimes.
