A viral video shows two clips of the protesters walking through a Wal-Mart and Target, against COVID restrictions like wearing masks.
The company created a new role for "Health Ambassadors" at its stores who will remind customers that they need a mask and will help come up with solutions when they do not have one.
"What a selfish and pitiful way to scam stores for refund money," said one mother.
"He was really just trying to buy a rifle."
The blurring of lines between online retailers and their brick-and-mortar counterparts are positioning two of America's largest retailers against each other.
Prime Fresh is expanding to more cities, but competitors may still have the edge on the e-commerce giant.
