Tributes Paid to Jake Adams After Adult Film Star Dies in Motorcycle Crash

Tributes have poured in for adult film star Jake Adams, after he reportedly died in a traffic collision at the age of 29.

KABC reported on Thursday that a motorcyclist was killed after crashing into another vehicle on the 101 Freeway near Encino, California, on Wednesday.

It has since been confirmed by friends and relatives that the motorcyclist was Adams, real name Anthony Estes, according to Monsters and Critics.

A host of Adams' friends took to Twitter to pay tribute to the entertainer on Thursday, as they shared their memories of the actor, producer and director.

Adult entertainment platform Bellesa wrote on Twitter: "We are devastated by the loss of Jake Adams, a beloved friend, colleague and member of the Bellesa family. Jake was kind, funny and talented. We're grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing him, hanging with him and working with him."

"Thank you for the memories, Jake," the tribute went on. "Things won't be the same without you. Rest easy. Love, Your friends at Belles."

Gustavo Turner, news editor at XBIZ, tweeted: "Consider that adult performers are constantly developing a sense of intimacy through work with many others in the community.

"Jake was such a prolific and reliable performer that his passing will intimately affect many of his co-workers. It's ok to take some time off to mourn."

Turner also shared a series of black-and-white images of Adams at work, adding the caption: "April, 2018: Jake Adams on set a few months after joining this circus of ours, while he was still 'the new guy.' Even then a real pro."

Meanwhile, performer Jessy Jones shared a link to a GoFundMe page set up to cover Adams' funeral expenses. The page has surpassed its $20,000 target.

On the GoFundMe page, Estes' aunt, Jennifer Robinson, wrote: "It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my sweet Nephew Anthony aka Jake Adams on July 14, 2021. He was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on the 101 fwy at the young age of 29.

"For those of you that know Anthony, know that he was a talented film director, artist, a gentle soul with a big heart, a jokester, and the bestest friend anyone could ever ask for. Anthony was a beloved grandson, son, nephew, brother, uncle and friend to so many.

"I kindly ask that if you are able to please donate even the smallest amount to help my sister Shannon lay her oldest son to rest would be greatly appreciated. I ask that you please keep my family in prayer during this difficult time. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart."

Estes gained more than 700 credits as a performer over the span of five years, working with such companies as Brazzers and Mofos.
