Trump 2020 Campaign Sells 'Hoaxus Pocus' Halloween Merchandise Urging, 'Stop the Witch-Hunt'
The Trump 2020 campaign is hawking a "Stop the Witch-Hunt" poster parodying the 1993 film Hocus Pocus just before Halloween.
The Trump Make America Great Again Committee, the fundraising wing of his reelection campaign, is offering a t-shirt and "fine art, limited edition" poster commemorating the "Greatest Witch Hunt" in United States history this week. Just ahead of Halloween, the latest quirky campaign store offerings include a drawing showing Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff and Judiciary Committee chair Jerrold Nadler as the "Hoaxus Pocus" witches. The trio of enchantress lawmakers can be seen peering over a crystal ball showing President Donald Trump soaring into the sky holding an American flag.
"HOAXUS POCUS! The Greatest Witch Hunt in the history of the USA continues. The only people scared this Halloween are Shifty Schiff, Nervous Nancy and Democrat Hack Jerry Nadler about their chances in 2020!" reads the campaign website listing.
Proceeds from any purchase on the website would directly fund the Trump-Pence 2020 reelection effort.

The $24 "fine art" drawing is available on both a "Stop The Witch Hunt" shirt as well as a movie poster. The image is riffing on the classic 90s Disney Halloween film starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as three witches seeking immortality. For several years, Midler has used her Twitter account as an outlet for ridiculing Trump and members of his administration in daily posts.
A screenwriter on the movie expressed his disgust at the Trump 2020 campaign parodying the film in their latest product to help fund his reelection.
"As one of the creators of Hocus Pocus, I am disgusted by this putrid act of evasion," Mick Garris tweeted Monday. "This is the worst president in our history, and I object in every way his attempt to co-opt, no matter how poorly, our creation. Leave our witches alone, oh Evil One."
The "Hoaxus Pocus" poster is not the only Halloween product offered on the official Trump-Pence 2020 store this week. Interested buyers can also purchase a $45 "Keep America Great Pumpkin Hat" which displays an orange Jack-o-Lantern on the front and the campaign's slogan scrawled on the back. Trump's campaign store frequently offers seasonal goods to supporters as well as timely news products such as the "Where's Hunter?" t-shirts mocking the son of former Vice President Joe Biden.

Collider reported this week that a Hocus Pocus sequel is in the works at Disney, with Workaholics writer and co-producer Jen D'Angelo helping to write the script.
The first family has been getting into the Halloween spirit this week. Trump and first lady Melania handed out candy to hundreds of military families Monday evening at the White House. The Air Force Strolling Strings orchestra played Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and "The Addams Family" theme song as costumed kids strolled through pumpkins and spooky scenery on the White House lawn.
The Trump 2020 online store cautions that the "Made in the USA" items sold on the website may not arrive by Halloween.
