Twitter Reacts To Bethenny Frankel's Cryptic Message About Being A Married Woman

When former Real Housewives of New York City star took to Twitter on Friday to publicly bid fellow housewives adieu, Bethenny Frankel also seemingly mentioned some big personal news.

Frankel hinted in a tweet that she might have tied the knot, saying she left the Bravo series because she is "the only one that is actually married."

Her full post said: "To my NY hwives: GO GET EM!" she wrote. "I had to go since I'm the only one that is actually married...that's how crazy this ride is. You are all amazing, beautiful and strong. Spread your wings and fly! Xoxo @ramonasinger @CountessLuann @TinsleyMortimer @SonjatMorgan @dorindamedley."

Frankel's message addressed "Housewives" Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Tinsley Mortimer, Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley, who are all apparently single and who are set to appear on the upcoming 12th season of the RHONY.

The reality star has reportedly been in a relationship with boyfriend Paul Bernon for the past year. Bernon has never appeared on RHONY, though she has discussed their relationship on the show and on social media.

The post seemingly shocked Twitter users, some of who then began to guess that Frankel is still married to her ex and the father of her daughter, Bryn.

Come on people she obviously means she hasn’t finalised her divorce with her ex so she’s technically still married. Don’t you people get Bethany’s sarcastic humour pic.twitter.com/6OJU58OeCb

At least one other user attempted to unpack the cryptic message word-by-word, writing: "did you marry the guy you were dating? what do you mean 'I had to go' Were you forced out? that makes no sense! You're the best part of the show."

Other users sent best wishes without question. One wrote: Congratulations! I wish you and Paul every happiness. A boss move to announce it this way, so fun ... We all gotta live our truth and the page has turned for a new chapter. I can feel you are lighter already! #YouGoGirl #Congratulations #BethennyFrankel."

Another added: "@Bethenny Wow! You're just full of surprises lately!!! Congratulations! No one deserves love and happiness more than you!!! Best of luck to you, Paul and Peanut!!"

A rep for Frankel could not be reached for immediate comment by Newsweek. However, Us Weekly reported Friday morning that a source close to the former Bravo personality confirmed to the magazine that she has not tied the knot again.

Frankel announced on Wednesday that she was leaving the show. She explained that she would like to focus on her 9-year-old daughter, philanthropy and a production partnership with Mark Burnett.

She had an on-again/off-again relationship with businessman Dennis Shields, who died of a suspected drug overdose last year.

She has also been married twice before. She wed Peter Sussman in 1996, though the marriage lasted only a year. She then married Jason Hoppy in 2010. That marriage ended in 2016.
