A hilarious video of a dog refusing to play with her puppy friends has gone viral on TikTok with more than 270,000 views.
In the video posted by @billie_and_gus, an older yellow Labrador named Louise can be seen avoiding two younger Labrador puppies like the plague, one yellow one chocolate.
The caption reads "Dog sitting our friends dog who doesn't like our puppies for the weekend..." and the Louise can be seen sitting far away from the puppies with a forlorn look on her face.

Social media is full of videos and stories about senior dogs finding a new lease of life when they get a new puppy, or bereaved dogs finding joy again in a younger dog. However, it doesn't always work out and your dog might just not want to share the attention.
There could be many reasons why a dog might not want to deal with a puppy, including "their inability to read social and physical cues to the relentless invasion of your adult dog's personal space," according to Rover.com.
"For an adult dog with an established routine, having a new puppy invade their space is similar to how you might feel if a random kid started spraying you with silly string and tickling you with a sticky half-melted popsicle. Even if it's a kid you love, it's annoying!"

Pet advice website Wag! suggest kitting yourself out with the below items to help you:
- Separate resources for each dog, so each has their own bed, crate, food and water bowls, and toys
- Treats
- A treat bag you can wear on your belt so as to have access to treats at all times
- A crate for the puppy
- A pen or pet gates to corral the pup and provide the oldie with peace
- A clicker
- A squeaky toy
Wag! suggest that the "clicker method" is a great way to alert your dog to good behavior that will get a reward.
"This is called capturing a behavior, and you can think of it in the same way as pressing the camera shutter captures the picture. The payback for the older dog is he gets a reward each time he hears the clicker, and so offers behaviors that are most likely to make this happen," the website says.
TikTok users found the grumpy dog hilarious.
User Leah said, "Aww they look like they want to play so bad and she is not having it," while Joyce Wu wrote, "I want to goooooo homeeeeee."
