USMNT vs. Mexico: Where to Watch, Live Stream, TV Channel, Odds
Two months on since they met in the Gold Cup final, the U.S. men's national team (USMNT) and Mexico revive their rivalry on Friday night.
Jonathan dos Santos scored the only goal of the game as El Tri regained the trophy on U.S. soil.
The two teams haven't played since and will in all likelihood look vastly different on Friday, with USMNT coach Gregg Berhalter and his counterpart Gerardo Martino set to refresh their rosters.
Zack Steffen is expected to get the nod in goal ahead of Brad Guzan after a solid start to the Bundesliga season with Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Ajax defender Sergino Dest should start at right-back, with Nick Lima set to get the nod on the other flank. Weston McKennie is a shoo-in midfield after impressing at the Gold Cup and could be joined in the middle of the park by Fortuna Dusseldorf midfielder Alfredo Morales. Up front, Christian Pulisic should retain his spot on the left wing after a solid start to his Chelsea career, while Tyler Boyd is expected to play on the right.
As far as the attack is concerned, the striker position is arguably the biggest doubt for Berhalter. Jozy Altidore isn't available on Friday as he's not been released by Toronto FC, while Lille's Tim Weah is injured.
Josh Sargent has opened his account for Werder Bremen, while Jordan Morris has been in good form for the Seattle Sounders and Gyasi Zardes offers the kind of link-up play Boyd and Pulisic thrive on.
Martino has named a 31-man squad and could use the game against USMNT to give a chance to some of his fringe players, given Mexico then plays Argentina on Tuesday.
El Tri's roster, however, is arguably more experienced than it was at the Gold Cup two months ago.
Hector Herrera makes his return to and should join Gold Cup hero Dos Santos in midfield alongside Edson Alvarez.
Up-front, new Napoli signing Hirving Lozano should get the nod alongside Javier Hernandez, who just moved to Sevilla from West Ham United.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of Friday.

Neither of the two teams has won this fixture back-to-back since Mexico in 2015 and 2016.
Strangely, USMNT hasn't lost a friendly against Mexico since 1984.
