Valentine's Day is always a good time to cuddle up on the sofa and watch some romantic films, whether that's with your significant other, gal pals, or even just you.

From Netflix to Amazon Prime Video, to Hulu and HBO Max, each streaming platform has their own unique offering for the romantic event.

If you're looking for a cheesy romantic drama, or indeed want to Netflix and Chill, then look no further than the streaming platform itself, which has a number of films on offer that will make viewers swoon.

There's the To All the Boys trilogy or The Kissing Booth trilogy for those looking for films perfect for a movie night, or there's the hilarious Always Be My Maybe for something short and sweet (and a bonus Keanu Reeves cameo).

Netflix also has a number of other great rom-coms available, like time-traveling caper About Time, which stars Domhnall Gleeson and Rachel McAdams, and Stardust which is based on Neil Gaiman's book of the same name and features a young Charlie Cox in the lead role opposite Claire Danes.

Hulu has several classic rom-coms like 1998's You've Got Mail, which stars Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, and The Princess Bride. It also has newer entries in the genre with queer films Portrait of a Lady on Fire and Love, Simon.

Following Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox, the company's streaming platform Disney+ has numerous films in its back catalogue, including 10 Things I Hate About You and Pretty Woman.

For something a little steamier, Fifty Shades of Grey is available to stream on Peacock, while Magic Mike can be enjoyed on HBO Max.
