Vancouver Whitecaps vs. Seattle Sounders: TV Guide, Live Stream Info and Odds for MLS This Weekend

Following a truncated round thanks to the international break, MLS returns with a full slate of games this weekend.

Among a series of interesting fixtures, the standout match of the round is Seattle's game on the road against Vancouver.

The reasons for this are two-fold. The teams arrive into the game in completely opposite state of minds, with the Whitecaps bottom of the Western Conference with zero points, while the Sounders have won each of their first three games.

Secondly, the rivalry between Vancouver and Seattle is one of the fieriest in North American soccer and predates the advent of MLS.

Here's everything you to know ahead of the weekend.

When and where is the game?

With neither of the two teams playing last weekend because of the international break, the Whitecaps return in front of their fans at BC Place for the first time since the opening game of the season.

Vancouver's last two games were on the road and this match will be Seattle's second straight away.

Kick-off is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 30.

TV info

The game will be broadcast on TSN1 in Canada and will be available on JOEtv and YouTube TV in the Seattle area. Out-of-market viewers in the U.S. can catch all the action on MLS Live on ESPN+. The game will also be streamed live on FuboTV and SlingTV.

The two sides' contrasting forms are reflected in the odds. According to OddsShark, Seattle is a +104 favorite, while Vancouver is +242 and the draw is at +297.

Recent form

The Sounders have won nine points from their first three games and trail Western Conference leaders Los Angeles FC by one point. They have a game in hand over their Californian rivals.

The Whitecaps, meanwhile, are still looking for their first point of the season and are off the bottom of the table in the Western Conference on goal difference.

The two teams haven't played since Week 3, when the Sounders won 4-2 on the road against Chicago, while the Whitecaps lost 3-2 in Houston against the Dynamo.

Series record

No other teams in the history of soccer in the U.S. and Canada have faced each other as often as the Whitecaps and the Sounders. The two teams have crossed paths 135 times in all competitions, with the Sounders winning 65 to the Whitecaps 49.

Seattle has won the last three meetings and four of the last five. More worryingly for Vancouver fans, the Whitecaps' goal in their 2-1 defeat last year was the first they scored against Seattle in five games.
