Vegan TikTok Activist Says She Would Not Donate Organs to Meat Eaters

A vegan activist on TikTok has been criticized for saying that she would not want to donate her organs to non-vegans as it would help them to "continue to live and keep murdering animals."

Miss Kadie, or @thatveganteacher on TikTok, said that she has chosen to opt-out of being an organ donor to ensure her organs would not go to a meat-eater if she were to die. She implies that she would not want to help a non-vegan survive as they would continue to kill animals.

In the video posted last week That Vegan Teacher said: "Before becoming a school teacher I worked as a nurse for 25 years and I always talked about the importance of signing our organ donor cards. But this year for the first time in my life I have decided not to sign it. And here's why.

"I realize how despicable society is, how many evil people are out there, especially since coming to TikTok, even more so. And I've decided that there's no way on earth that I want any of you to ever get my organs if I die."

That Vegan Teacher then said: "The only people I would ever want would be vegan animal rights activists because I will give those organs to those people and I know that they will not be murdering animals to put into that body that would have been saved.

"The rest of you will just continue to live and keep murdering animals. So I just wanted to let you know that it's really disappointing that it's come to this."

The video has more than 755,000 views on TikTok and more than 100,000 on Twitter.

The TikTok video was shared to Twitter by Kathryn, who said: "thatveganteacher on tiktok is such a horrible person....does she even realize how many people are on organ donation lists???

"there are children, who have lost their lives, that are more selfless than she will ever be, by donating their organs to anyone, not just vegans f*** her"

Journalist Yashar Ali also shared the video to TikTok and said: "Some of [her videos] are harmless but annoying. But this is just deeply disturbing."

On her TikTok channel, Miss Kadie posts original songs about animal rights and answers questions about veganism. She has 940,000 followers and 15.6 million likes across her videos.

However, her TikTok on organ donation is not her only controversial video. In a video with more than 1 million views, Miss Kadie imitates speaking with God on a banana phone before claiming that Jesus is a vegan and that Heaven is vegan.

She has also said that "all priests who don't believe in abuse should be vegan" and "God wants everyone with a good heart to become vegan."

Another video on her channel sees her questioning the LGBTQ+ community, asking them why they aren't vegan if they "don't like oppression."

Miss Kadie has also been criticized for feeding her dog a vegan diet, with nearly 4,000 people signing a petition to "save" her dog. In relation to feeding her dog a vegan diet, That Vegan Teacher has said "speciesism is as wrong as racism."

Newsweek has contacted Miss Kadie for comment.
