Video Shows Excited Fans Recognizing Lizzo Underneath Baby Yoda Costume

In addition to winning Grammys and selling out shows, Lizzo has made a name for herself on TikTok. The three-time Grammy winner uses to app to show fans a glimpse of her everyday life.

This past weekend, Lizzo took to the app to document her multiple Halloween looks. And just when fans thought they'd seen it all, she posted one more set of videos Monday afternoon showing the singer dressed up as Kim Kardashian, donning the all-black outfit the reality star wore to the Met Ball this year in New York City.

The first costume she wore was as Grogu, aka Baby Yoda from The Mandalorian series. She wore green face paint, fake ears and a tan robe. Videos showed the singer walking down the Hollywood Walk of Fame taking photos and having fun with unsuspecting passersby.

She later performed at Spotify's Ghost Town Halloween Party in West Hollywood in full costume, according to People magazine.

In a caption to one of her videos, the singer wrote: "Grogu aka Baby Yoda aka The Child has no recollection of these events. In fact, these events never happened *jedi hand wave*."

One commenter noted that it appeared that people were taking pictures with the singer because of her costume, not because they noticed who was under the costume.

"I love that they're taking photos with her because she's dressed as Yoda and not because she's lizzo," the comment read.

Lizzo responded to the comment with a video of the singer interacting with a group of people on the sidewalk who appeared shocked that it was her under the green face paint.

One person in the group said, "I called it first."

Lizzo played along for a while denying who she is."I do a good Lizzo impression," she joked to the group.

"You look just like her...," someone in the group said.

Lizzo took off her glasses and responded "I look...I look like Lizzo?!," and laughs.

But Baby Yoda proved to be just the first of many costumes the singer wore this weekend.

After the series of videos in the Baby Yoda costume, Lizzo posted two videos on TikTok of her performing dressed as the "Red Light, Green Light" doll from Squid Game.

In a video showing a third costume, Lizzo responded to a comment asking "how many costumes does this queen have."

In the caption, Lizzo wrote, "I WILL LITERALLY CASH APP $100 TO THE FIRST PERSON WHO CAN GUESS MY COSTUME."

One commenter guessed that she was Dorothea from the 1992 movie Bebe's Kids.

"WHATS UR VENMO MAMA! U JUST MADE 100$" the singer wrote in a second video responding to the comment.

In August, Lizzo released the song Rumors with Cardi B, the first new song from the artist in two years, according to Pitchfork.
