'The Walking Dead' Season 9 Episode 12 Spoilers: What's Next For Henry in 9x12

The Walking Dead episode 12 is almost here, and that means major things for Henry, Negan and the Whisperers. The latest SPOILER report from the experts at The Spoiling Dead Fans details the fate of these characters and reveals a few potential deaths.

Speaking first to the fate of Henry, he's taken back to the Whisperer camp and detained. Lydia tries to convince Alpha that she doesn't have any ties to him, but her mother doesn't buy it. Elsewhere in the episode, a Whisperer couple accuses Alpha of breaking her own rules to save her daughter. In response, one of them is stabbed and the other is beheaded with a wire. The bodies are fed to a small herd of walkers.

At Alexandria, the conflict with the Whisperers encourages Michonne to close off the community. She eventually relents, however, and lets the residents vote to participate in the fair. The result of the vote is not explicitly stated, but it's implied to have passed. Negan also talks to Michonne about helping her lead Alexandria. She figures out he has been listening in on conversations through his cell window, so she closes it up. Last but not least, Father Gabriel is upset about Rosita's baby with Siddiq, but Eugene convinces him to keep the relationship going.

At the close of the episode, viewers learn that a Whisperer-disguised Daryl and Connie watched the two dissenters being fed to the herd. They take that group of zombies and direct it toward Alpha's camp. In the mayhem, both Henry and Lydia are rescued.

This week's episode of The Walking Dead is a fairly uneventful one, but it sews the seeds of bigger developments to come. Alexandria's participation in the fair will likely have a massive impact when that cataclysmic event happens, and it's unclear how Alpha will retaliate for her two lost prisoners. Will she immediately discover that the Hilltop gang is to blame for the incident? As for Negan, is there a chance he might somehow gain legal control over Alexandria? The Walking Dead episode 12 leaves a lot to be desired in terms of resolution, but it sure makes you think.

The Walking Dead continues March 3 on AMC.
