'The Walking Dead' Season 9 Episode 2 Spoilers: Kissing & Big Death in 9x02
The Walking Dead Season 9 continues with a very eventful second episode on Sunday night. Thanks to a forum post from The Spoiling Dead Fans, we have a full recap of everything that happens. There's kissing, an amputation and a huge death cliffhanger.

The episode takes place 35 days after Gregory's hanging and begins with Rick talking to someone about the aftermath of the war. He says Alexandria and its associated communities are working together with intention of "making a new beginning." We also see another cute scene with Carol and Ezekiel and learn that Sidiq is training Enid and Cindie to help him at the infirmary.
Over at the Hilltop, Michonne confronts Maggie about a shipment that didn't arrive on time at the Sanctuary. Michonne also mentions that she's not a fan of Maggie's authoritarian leadership style. This is an ongoing theme of the episode, and Maggie expresses no regret for her actions.
In the next scene, Henry hands out water rations to the people and is harassed by another resident named Justin. When Justin tries to take Henry's water, Daryl steps in to defend the boy and the fight is ultimately split up by Rick. Rick pulls Daryl aside and Daryl asks Rick if they're still on the same side. Rick assures him they are. Carol offers additional confirmation that she'll do her best to ensure Daryl stays happy.
Elsewhere, Jadis draws Gabriel a picture of "a woman with glasses." Gabriel wants to bring Jadis into the community as a "normal" member, and she appears to be grateful for that.
Things get out of hand when Rick and crew try to lure a herd of walkers from a nearby bridge. While building reinforcements, a log falls on Aaron's arm and crushes it. Further chaos ensues when the lure alarm Justin was supposed to monitor doesn't go off. The herd approaches, but Rick finishes them off by shooting a bundle of logs that falls on it. Daryl takes Aaron to the infirmary and Enid amputates his arm.
Daryl expresses more frustration at Justin for his mistakes, and Rick ultimately banishes Justin for his actions. We learn that Jadis has completed her painting. She asks Gabriel if he still feels afraid, and this leads to a makeout session. Shortly thereafter, Jadis looks to the sky and we see her mysterious helicopter once more.
There's a joyous campfire scene where Carol decides to put on Ezekiel's engagement ring. There's a cut, and we learn that Rick's conversation at the start of the episode was with Negan. Negan tells Rick "you're not saving this world, you're just getting it ready for me."
At the very end, Justin is on his own and he runs into a person hiding in the woods. While distracted, someone else kills him. We can't see who does the deed.
