West Ham United vs. Manchester City: Where to Watch EPL, Live Stream, Team News and Odds

Manchester City begins its quest for a third straight Premier League title against West Ham United on Saturday.

It's just over three months since City won 4-1 at Brighton to pip Liverpool to the title by a single point in one of the most exciting title races the Premier League has seen and Pep Guardiola's men are favorites to repeat the feat.

Winning a third title in a row would be particularly sweet for City, given that since the Premier League introduction in 1992 only Manchester United has managed a three-peat—United achieved it twice, between 1999 and 2001 and between 2007 and 2009.

City hasn't stood still this summer, signing Spanish midfielder Rodri from Atletico Madrid for a club record fee and full-back Joao Cancelo from Juventus, but the loss of Vincent Kompany is expected to be sorely felt.

The Belgian was a pivotal figure in City's transformation from also-ran into a Premier League force and his influence will be missed both in the locker room and on the field.

City were pushed to the wire by Liverpool last season and Pep Guardiola will be well aware his team needs to start the season on the front foot. Luckily for him, the London Stadium has been a happy hunting ground for City, who have won their four visits 5-0, 4-0 4-1 and 4-0.

Manuel Pellegrini will not relish facing his former side, but at the same time there's intrigue surrounding West Ham after the Chilean has strengthened his side in the summer. The Hammers broke their transfer record to sign forward Sébastien Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt, who along with Albian Ajeti will replace Marko Arnautovic.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of Saturday.

When and where is the game?

West Ham hosts Manchester City at the London Stadium on Saturday, August 10, with kick-off scheduled for 12:30 p.m. local time (7:30 a.m. ET).

City has scored four goals in each of its last three visits to the London Stadium and has won all the last five meetings against West Ham.

TV coverage

The game will be broadcast live on NBCSN.

Live stream

A live stream will be available via NBC Sports website, NBC Sports Gold and the NBC Sports app. Live stream for selected games will also be available via fuboTV.

City began the season where it left off in May by winning the Community Shield at Wembley last week. The defending champions took an early lead against Liverpool and should have been out of sight by halftime, but failed to convert their chances and eventually needed a penalty shootout to overcome their rivals.

West Ham's preseason has been a mixed bag, with three wins and three losses in six games. While the results are unlikely to bother Manuel Pellegrini, the fact West Ham only kept one clean sheet in six games will be a cause for concern.

Team news

West Ham's record signing Sebastien Haller and midfielder Pablo Fornals should make their debut, but captain Mark Noble is out with a dead leg. Rodri and Joao Cancelo should make their first start for City, who will be without Leroy Sane for six months after the German ruptured his ACL.

According to Oddschecker, City is a 7/25 favorite, while the draw is at 11/2 and West Ham is an 11/1 outsider.
