Most stores are closed on Christmas Day, which can be a pain if you've forgotten something for your Christmas meal or you don't celebrate the holiday and simply want to do some shopping.

Fortunately, a handful of companies do keep their doors open on the 25th so below we've put together a handy list of those which do. Even so, it's definitely worth checking with the individual establishment in question beforehand just to make sure.

Acme: Most stores will be open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Albertsons: Most stores will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Circle K: Most stores will be open 24/7.

Casey's: All stores will be open, however you should check with your local outlet to see when business hours begin.

Cumberland Farms: Most stores will be open from 7 a.m. until midnight.

Giant Food: Most stores will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Family Dollar: Some stores will be open, although hours will vary.

Sheetz: Most stores will be open 24/7.

Speedway: Most stores will be open 24/7.

Wawa: Most stores will be open 24/7.

Pharmacies

CVS: Most stores will be open from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m.
