Photographer Nickey Milo, who did not immediately respond to Newsweek's request for comment, claimed Beltran died from an overdose. "Just heard some very sad news, RIP Yurizan Beltran,,, we always loved you. Fuck this," she wrote on Wednesday. "My heart is beyond broken and sad. Tell your friends you love them today, and be there for when they need help, even if they do not want it."

But Beltran might have been a victim of cyberbullying. In her last Instagram post, she seemingly sent a message to her trolls. "You're still lurking on my profiles. What the fuck is it you want bitch, borrow an outfit." She captioned it with, "Bye, Felicia."

A memorial for Beltran is reportedly being held on Sunday at Metroflex Gym in Long Beach, California. "We will be having a balloon release to pay our respects," a tweet from Milo said. "Yuri's favorite color was deep purple, so we ask you [to] bring a purple balloon to release and show her how many of us loved her and how she touched our hearts."

Beltran is the second porn star to die this month. August Ames was found dead in her California home on December 5 after she faced an onslaught of cyberbullying following a tweet that was considered homophobic. She was 23 years old. Ames, née Mercedes Grabowski, fought depression and bipolar disorder.
