Who is Adele's new boyfriend Rich Paul?
Adele has seemingly gone public with her latest relationship by sharing a sweet couple's picture on Instagram.
The singer shared new images of herself in a Schiaparelli dress followed by a picture of her with American sports agent Rich Paul. The caption for the Instagram post was simply a red love heart emoji.
Adele hasn't been linked with too many high profile love interests since her divorce from Simon Konecki was finalized earlier this year. Her relationship with Paul seems to be the first to go Instagram official.
Who is Rich Paul?
Paul is a famed sports agent whose company Klutch Sports Group represents a number of prominent NBA and NFL players.
Klutch Sports Group was founded in 2012 by Paul and he quickly signed his friend and long time client LeBron James. The company's other NBA clients include Ben Simmons, John Wall, Trae Young and Anthony Davis.
Paul's success has helped Klutch grow into one of the biggest companies in its industry. In 2020 Forbes listed it as the thirteenth biggest sports management company in the world with commissions totaling $58.1 million and their contracts raking in a combined $1.7 billion.
Paul was also named in Ebony Magazine's Power 100 List in 2020 for his work as a sports agent. He was named alongside other prominent African American figures like Gayle King, Simone Biles, John Legend, Gabrielle Union, Lil Nas X, Lizzo and Patrick Mahomes, to name just a few.
Adele and Rich Paul's relationship timeline
Neither Adele nor Paul have spoken out about their relationship with each other but they were photographed in public together before Adele's sweet Instagram post.
On July 17 this year they were photographed court-side at Game Five of the NBA Finals between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns in Arizona. Adele made it clear who she was supporting on the day by waving an orange Suns flag around.
On September 19 Adele showed their relationship was going strong by sharing a black and white image of her and Paul dressed to the nines on her Instagram account. Celebrities like Rita Wilson and Dascha Polanco commented on the post with their support.
Adele's relationship history
Adele had been with Simon Konecki since 2011 and the pair married in 2016. Their son Angelo James was born on October 19, 2012 but in April 2019, Adele's publicist released a statement confirming their separation saying they were still "committed to raising their son together lovingly."
Since then Adele was rumored to have dated British grime artist Skepta in 2019. Prior to this Adele had sang about ex's on her albums 18 and 21 but they seem to predate her fame and have remained anonymous.
