Who Is Giannis Antetokounmpo's Girlfriend? Couple Expecting Second Child

Giannis Antetokounmpo, aka Greek Freak, has been impressing NBA legends on the basketball court recently. His efforts have meant the Milwaukee Bucks have become the NBA Champions, for only the second time in the team's history.

The Milwaukee Bucks first won the NBA Championship in 1971, meaning on its 50th anniversary, Antetokounmpo helped them win the title once more.

His work on the court has caught the attention of big names like LeBron James, who tweeted during the championship game: "Greek Freak is HOOPING!!!!!!!"

Late basketball player Kobe Bryant spotted Antetokounmpo's talent years ago, tweeting in 2019: "My man....M.V.P. Greatness. Next up: Championship. #MambaMentality"

It seems this prophecy was pretty exact, given his recent play where he scored 50 of the team's 105 points, as well as 14 rebounds and five blocks to win them the title.

His performance came after he was ruled out of playing a game earlier in July due to a knee injury, which threatened his spot in the final.

With all eyes on Antetokounmpo, that means all eyes on his family as well.

Who is Mariah Riddlesprigger?

Antetokounmpo has been in a relationship with Mariah Riddlesprigger for some time, though it is not clear exactly how long they have been together.

However, in February 2020, she gave birth to his son, Liam, who has since been seen in Instagram posts at the Fiserv Forum as well as on family vacations with the pair.

As for Riddlesprigger, she recently launched a wellness brand which includes merchandise with uplifting slogans, and has an upcoming blog.

In an introductory post on her Instagram account, she explained she is "a college graduate, I am a former Division I athlete."

She played volleyball for her university, Rice University, during her tenure there.

In another post, she paid tribute to Antetokounmpo's work ethic and explained how her family are central to her life.

She said: "Giannis is seriously one of the hardest working people I have ever met. Seeing his drive to become the best at what he does has given me so much more motivation to become the best version of myself!

"Most people get to see his progress/work season to season and game to game, but I get a front row seat to his progress and work ethic daily and it's truly unbelievable how much work he puts in...

"My precious son has given me a sense of purpose I never knew I had in me. I mean what crazy person decides to start a new journey 3 months postpartum, but having him has been the extra inspiration I needed to get started!

"Im so blessed to have two great loves that give me purpose, passion and perseverance!"

In recent posts, she confirmed she is pregnant with the couple's second child after launching her new brand on Mother's Day, stating her children give her "purpose."

She announced her pregnancy in May, so it may be the child is due in early 2022, though neither she nor Antetokounmpo have confirmed this date.
