Woman Shares 'Amazing' Hack to Get Perfect Round Cookies Every Time

TikTok continues to provide endless handy tips and tricks to make life that much easier. This time, you can make sure to impress with perfectly round cookies every time, using just one technique introduced by a mom blogger.

Users of the app have been left impressed by the easy method from TikToker @babychrismom, who has gained over 32 million views with it.

@babychrismom advised viewers to "use a coffee cup or glass" to place on top of a smaller cookie. Using the cup, she swirled the cookie around in a circular motion while still on the baking tray.

It's essential, she explained, to do the hack "right after you get them out of the oven."

As if by magic, the once ill-shaped cookie transformed into a perfect circle after lifting the cup. The surprising reveal left doubts in the minds of some viewers, who demanded to see it with a clear glass.

"Use a clear glass so we can see it's true," commented one user, to which @babychrismom responded with a video of exactly that.

With a clear glass, the results were exactly the same as before, showing just how accurate the hack is.

The second video gained over 27 million views, while the original boasted over 15 million at the time of publication.

After gaining popularity, TikTok users Ivy and X attempted the hack on their account, @partyshirt, on which they often "test trends to see if they're real or fake."

Despite having some difficulty, with some of their cookies being bigger than the glass, the end result was perfectly circular cookies.

"The perfectionist in me thanks you," commented one fan on the original video.

"I did this the other day and it was absolutely a great idea, they all became totally uniform and perfectly round," noted another.

Others however argued that they prefer the non-perfect ones anyway, with one user writing: "Imperfect cookies hit better."

"But then I won't have an excuse to eat the misfit cookies," added another.

In response to viewers requesting the recipe, the TikToker detailed exactly how she made such perfect looking cookies, noting she used: "½ cup sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp salt, ½ cup unsalted butter, melted, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, ½ tsp baking soda, ½ tsp baking powder, 2 oz milk, 2 oz semi-sweet chocolate chunks and 4 oz dark chocolate chunks."

She added that after refrigerating the mixture for 30-60 minutes, she baked the cookies for 12 -14 mins on 350 degrees for 12 cookies with a maximum of six on each tray.
