Woman Testifies Ghislaine Maxwell Made Her 'Take Jeffrey His Tea' in Schoolgirl Outfit

A second accuser in the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell took the stand Monday, testifying about Maxwell's influence on the sexual acts she engaged in with Jeffrey Epstein, including one story where she directed her to take Epstein his tea in a schoolgirl's outfit, according to the Associated Press.

"Kate," a British woman testifying under a false name to maintain anonymity, testified that Maxwell directed her to give Epstein sexual massages similar to the ones "Jane" recalled in her testimony.

Unlike "Jane," the woman who testified Monday was at the age of consent in Britain and the U.S. at the time of her encounters with Epstein in the mid-1990s.

She said she met Maxwell in London through a friend when she was 17 and was told Epstein could help her with the musical career she wanted to pursue, the AP reported. She agreed to meet him and give him massages, after which she was flown to Florida to meet him, where the sexual encounters began when she was 18.

She said Maxwell pressured her into the massages, saying it would be "fun" and "Kate" would enjoy it, including one specific incident at Epstein's Palm Beach, Florida, mansion where Maxwell left out a schoolgirl's uniform for her to wear.

"I thought it would be fun for you to take Jeffrey his tea in this outfit," the witness testified that Maxwell told her.

Following the ensuing encounter with Epstein, "Kate" testified that Maxwell asked her if she had fun and said, "You are such a good girl."

She said she is testifying anonymously because of the "humiliation and shame around the events that took place" she feels, and also has a child of her own now, and wants to protect her identity for the safety of herself and her family.

Maxwell, 59, has denied charges she groomed girls as young as 14 for Epstein, who killed himself in jail in 2019. Her lawyers say the government is making her a scapegoat for Epstein's alleged sex crimes.

Maxwell also told "Kate" that Epstein was "demanding" when it came to sexual massages, saying it was "very difficult to keep up" with his needs, the witness said.

Maxwell's demeanor was "almost like a schoolgirl," she said. "Everything was fun. Everything seemed to be like a fun, silly joke."

On cross-examination, a lawyer for Maxwell got the witness to acknowledge instances where she had spoken out publicly about Epstein and Maxwell using her real name. She also asked whether her history of drug and alcohol abuse affected her memory.

"It has not had an impact on the memories I have always had," she said.
