An overlaid text on the video read: "[Point of view] Your husband didn't realize it was his off day and comes right back home so excited to see me."

Newsweek reached out to @demighel for more information via TikTok.

The brief clip which had been captioned, "the way he was so excited waiting for me to open the door," has gained significant attention on social media. To date, it has amassed over 406,000 likes and has been viewed more than 2.3 million times. The touching moment has been taken by many viewers as a reflection of the man's care and affection for his wife.

"Fixing his hair with flowers in his hands like it's the first time seeing you," one user wrote.

Another added: "We need more men like him. This is the cutest thing I've seen all day."

"The flowers and fixing hair is cute. But GIRL! His eyes and smile when you open the door...My heart can't take it. That man love loves you! I love this," a third user shared.

Another said: "It looks like he's getting ready for his first date. He's nervous and excited all at once!"

Simple gestures, such as bringing flowers to your partner, can be a thoughtful way to show affection, maintain emotional closeness and keep the spark in a long-term relationship alive.

Arash Emamzadeh, who pursued graduate work in clinical psychology and neuropsychology, emphasized the importance of such gestures. Emamzadeh, who is based in Canada, told Psychology Today that keeping the spark alive in a relationship often involves fostering moments of connection, and demonstrating care and appreciation to ensure that one's partner feels special.

The psychology blogger advised couples to reflect on their daily rituals—whether that be having a cup of coffee together in the morning or doing household chores by each other's side—and to pinpoint whether there are opportunities for positive experiences within them. Taking advantage of these moments could begin to lift the mood in a relationship that has been neglected.
