The popularity of the online puzzle game Wordle shows no sign of slowing down, and as always there could be a lot of people struggling with today's answer.
The game in which users have to guess a five-letter word and are told if they have the correct letters by way of green and yellow grids, exploded in popularity in a relatively short amount of time earlier this year.
In October 2021, the game only had 90 users. Now, after its creator Josh Wardle sold it to The New York Times Company for a reported seven-figure sum, there are an estimated 45 million unique users every month trying to get the daily brain teaser.

In an interview with TechCrunch, Wardle said the simple game he originally created just for his partner is the same one that tens of millions of people are now playing every month.
"What I built [at the start] is the game that everyone is playing today," he said in January. "It was definitely not the intention when I started."
Wardle himself even admitted that he finds it hard to find the correct five letter word while playing his own game sometimes.
"I feel smart when I get a Wordle, even though I made the game," Wardle said.
"It's about the journey, especially on days like today where I'm like really stumped and I like have to think about it" (TechCrunch reported that the answer for that day's Wordle was "query.")
"It's hard enough that it will hit, like, that sense of accomplishment that feels good," Wardle added.
