The first round of The Cut in "World of Dance" begins tonight. Find out who gets eliminated and who moves on to the Divisional Finals, here.
The World of Dance competition is heating up as the first round of The Cut kicks off, Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 9 p.m. EDT. The final acts will pair up and face off for coveted spots in the Divisional Finals.
If you aren't familiar with how The Cut works, each week all remaining acts in a single division (Junior, Junior Team, Upper and Upper Team) will perform for the judges. At the end, only three acts from each division will move on to the Divisional Finals. As each act performs, the judges will submit scores based off the show's unique five-point scoring system. The three teams with the highest average will move on to the Divisional Finals, and the losing acts will be eliminated. During the Duels, 30 acts made it through the head-to-head battles and moved on to The Cut.
As soon as tonight's show kicks off, we'll add live updates and recap information about who made it through and who was eliminated. In the meantime, if you missed last week's Duels, you can check out a rundown of which acts made it to The Cut below.
