WWE Draft 2019 Free Agents Signed to RAW and SmackDown

One of the peculiar topics following the 2019 WWE Draft were the free agents.

These men and women who were not drafted on Friday or Monday were dubbed free agents who could sign to either brand. Well, it seems that RAW and SmackDown have signed some of the remaining superstars who were not drafted.

On WWE's The Bump, the promotin's web-only morning show, a list of signees were announced for both brands.

Here's who Monday Night RAW selected:

  • Sarah Logan
  • The IIconics
  • Mojo Rawley
  • No Way Jose
  • Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins

Logan's husband, Erik of the Viking Raiders, is on RAW so it's no surprise that she will be planted on Monday Nights. It will be interesting to see if they partner Logan up with her former Riott Squad running mate, Liv Morgan who was drafted to RAW on Monday.

The only brand move comes from The IIconics. Peyton Royce and Billie Kay were SmackDown stars before winning the Women's Tag Team Championships, allowing them to transition between both shows.

SmackDown signed the following superstars:

  • Luke Harper
  • Cesaro
  • Drake Maverick
  • Dana Brooke
  • Sonya Deville
  • Mandy Rose

The biggest brand moves in this round of signings come from the blue show. Cesaro and Drake Maverick move to SmackDown, while Luke Harper stays on Friday nights. This means that the partnership between he and Erick Rowan is seemingly finished.

It's also a shame to see Maverick, who has done great work with the 24/7 Championship, on a different brand from the current title holder, R-Truth. That hasn't stopped Maverick in his pursuit of the 24/7 Championship, though, so fans will have to wait and see how that story develops.

Another interesting tidbit is that Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville were selected separately instead of as a team like Zack Ryder/Curt Hawkins and The IIconics. Has Fire and Desire dissolved, or did WWE just change the format? Our bet is on the latter.

Despite the moves, there are still a handful of free agents yet to be drafted or signed. Most of them are out due to injury, but there are some notable names still eligible, including The Usos.

Here's the remainder of the WWE roster who are active competitors:

  • Naomi
  • The Usos
  • Nia Jax
  • Ember Moon
  • Sheamus
  • Matt Hardy
  • Jeff Hardy
  • The Colons
  • The Ascension
  • Ruby Riott
