DX Reunite to Fight Undertaker and Kane at WWE Crown Jewel
The WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia has another confirmed match, as D-Generation X will reunite to square off against The Brothers of Destruction.
After Triple H defeated The Undertaker at Super Show-Down in Australia, the Deadman and his brother Kane took out Trips and Shawn Michaels. The attack upset both men as they opened the Oct. 8 episode of Monday Night RAW with a promo announcing the match at Crown Jewel.
Take a look at the DX reunion below.
Shawn Michaels will be in in-ring action for the first time since WrestleMania XXVI in 2010, when he lost to the Undertaker in a retirement vs streak match. Although Michaels retired from in-ring action he would be a part of the company in various capacities, which includes being a part of Triple H and Undertaker's "End of an Era" match at WrestleMania XXVIII in 2012 as the special guest referee.
Prior to Super Show-Down, Michaels said that he stayed retired because he had respect for the Undertaker and how the business works. The Deadman would come out and tell the Heartbreak Kid that he doesn't come out of retirement because he's afraid.
The DX and Brothers of Destruction match is the third confirmed bout at WWE Crown Jewel. The first is the triple threat match for the Universal Championship between Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar. The second is the WWE Championship match between AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan.
There is also an eight-man tournament for the WWE World Cup. John Cena is the first superstar confirmed for it, and the other slots will be filled through qualifiers.
Crown Jewel will stream on the WWE Network on Nov. 2.
