The Greatest Royal Rumble Card Includes IC Ladder Match and Cena vs. Triple H

More information on the Greatest Royal Rumble card, the huge WWE event taking place in Saudi Arabia, has been announced, including a match between John Cena and Triple H.

According to a WWE press release, three previously unconfirmed matches for the Greatest Royal Rumble will include the aforementioned bout between Cena and Triple H (the first time the two have faced off since 2010); a ladder match for the Intercontinental title between The Miz, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe; and a RAW Tag titles match between The Hardy Boyz and the team of Sheamus and Cesaro.

The Greatest Royal Rumble card confirms the return of two WWE superstars. In January, Samoa Joe was sidelined with a foot injury before the Royal Rumble, but now appears to be healthy since he is being thrust into the IC Ladder match. One half of The Hardys, Jeff Hardy, also missed significant time after tearing his rotator cuff in September 2017 and is now confirmed to return as early as the Greatest Royal Rumble.

WWE previously confirmed seven titles will be defended at the Greatest Royal Rumble event: the WWE championship, Universal championship, Intercontinental championship, United States championship, Raw Tag Team championship, SmackDown Tag Team championship and Cruiserweight championship.

Five more title matches are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks, but with WrestleMania 34 airing on April 8, many of the titleholders going into the April 27 event are still to be determined. With The Bar defending their RAW Tag Team championships at 'Mania 34, this card is subject to change.

Other confirmed WWE superstars for the Greatest Royal Rumble event include Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, The New Day, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Shinsuke Nakamura, though they are not confirmed as entrants in the 50-man match.

Tickets for the Greatest Royal Rumble will go on sale March 31. The event will take place at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, at 7 p.m. EDT. Broadcasting information will be released in the coming weeks.
