WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 Results: Brock Lesnar Returns to Crash Universal Title Match

Brock Lesnar made a surprise return to WWE during the main event of the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman.

Reigns and Strowman were locked in a heated battle inside the Hell in a Cell when The Beast arrived to lay both men out, leaving Reigns the Universal Champion and Strowman having failed his Money in the Bank cash-in.

Before Lesnar appeared, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler came out to try and get inside to help the Monster Among Men. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins came out to stop McIntyre and Ziggler, leading to the four men scaling the cage and fighting on the top of the cell.

Rollins and Ziggler would eventually fall from the side of the cell onto the announce table, all while Strowman and Reigns were laid out from the numerous weapon, table and chair shots both men took.

Brock Lesnar then appeared with Paul Heyman. Lesnar ripped the door of the Hell in a Cell off its hinges and when special guest referee, Mick Foley tried to stop them, Heyman used the pepper spray on him. Lesnar proceeded to walk into the cell and take out both Strowman and Reigns.

Lesnar and Heyman would walk away when another referee entered the cell to check on Strowman and Reigns. After a few seconds, the new referee decided to end the match as neither fighter could continue. Since Reigns is the champion, he gets to retain while Strowman is left without the coveted belt.

Lesnar lost the Universal Championship to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, but when he asked for his rematch then RAW General Manager, Kurt Angle refused it saying he wouldn't get his rematch for a long time. Lesnar nor Heyman have been seen since.

It looks like Heyman and Lesnar are taking matters into their own hands and we'll likely see the repercussions of their actions on the next episode of Monday Night RAW.
