The "Road to WrestleMania" begins tonight as the WWE puts on its first pay-per-view of the new year, the Royal Rumble.

Aside from the men and women's Rumble matches, there are seven championship matches that will likely determine who will likely carry their respective titles into WrestleMania 35. However, the women's division will be the talk of the evening as the story between Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch continues to push toward the WWE's biggest show of the year.

Will Ronda retain her title? Will Becky re-capture the SmackDown Women's Championship? And will Charlotte win her first rumble match?

There's a lot expected to happen at this year's Royal Rumble. Here's everything that went down at the 2019 Royal Rumble including the Kickoff show.

ROYAL RUMBLE 2019 RESULTS

Kickoff Show

Bobby Roode and Chad Gable vs Rezar and Scott Dawson

Since Akam is out with injury, the teams of AoP and Revival team up. If Rezar and Dawson win, both teams get a RAW Tag Team Championship shot.
Roode and Gable win via pinfall.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Rusev (c) - US Championship Match

Shinuske wins via pinfall after hitting Rusev with a Kinshasa to the back of the head.
The finish was set up after Lana tried to stop Nakamura from taking off the turnbuckle pad. Rusev tried to hit Nakamura with the Machka Kick but he moves out of the way, and Lana takes the bump from the apron to the outside, causing the distraction.

Buddy Murphy (c) vs Hideo Itami vs Kalisto vs Akira Tozawa - Cruiserweight Championship Match

Murphy wins via pinfall after hitting Itami with Murphy's Law

Royal Rumble Main Card

Becky Lynch vs Asuka (c) - SmackDown Women's Championship Match

Asuka wins via submission

Miz/Shane McMahon vs The Bar (c) - SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match

Shane/Miz win via pinfall after Shane hits Cesaro with a Shooting Star Press, after Miz hits Sheamus with the Skull-Crushing Finale.

Sasha Banks vs Ronda Rousey (c) - RAW Women's Championship Match

Rusey wins via pinfall after hitting a Piper's Pit
After the match, Ronda helps Sasha up. On the ramp, Sasha holds up four fingers in front of Ronda after shaking hands.

AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan (c) - WWE Championship Match

Daniel Bryan wins via pinfall.
Finish was set up after the referee gets hits. This allows for a returning Erik Rowan to hit AJ Styles, allowing for Bryan to pick up the victory.
After the match, Bryan tells Rowan to pick up AJ Styles and the WWE Champion delivers a running knee.

Finn Balor vs Brock Lesnar (c) - Universal Championship Match

Brock Lesnar wins via submission after a Kimura Lock
After the match, Lesnar hits a few German Suplexes and an F-5 on Finn Balor.
