WWE SummerSlam 2019 Card: Every Confirmed Match for this Sunday

It's the biggest event of the summer: WWE's SummerSlam pay-per-view is live this Sunday from Toronto.

There are 10 confirmed matches on the SummerSlam 2019 card with six titles on the line. AJ Styles looks to continue the rise of The OC by retaining the United States Championship, while Seth Rollins hopes to win back the Universal Championship from Brock Lesnar.

Becky Lynch and Bayley defend their women's championships against Natalya and Ember Moon, respectively, while WWE Hall of Famers Goldberg and Trish Stratus return for one more match.

There's plenty of matches that can steal the show on Sunday, so here's every confirmed bout on the SummerSlam 2019 card with some additional background information on each one.

KICKOFF SHOW

WWE confirmed two more matches for the SummerSlam Kickoff show, along with the Cruiserweight Championship match. Here they are:

FINN BALOR vs THE FIEND

After weeks of Bray Wyatt teasing an in-ring return, fans are finally going to see it on Sunday. His first victim? Finn Balor.

These two had a short feud a couple years ago that ended abruptly due to Wyatt coming down with an illness. Now that Wyatt has his new persona, "The Fiend" doing the fighting, does Finn have a chance?

DREW GULAK (c) vs ONEY LORCAN - CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

Drew Gulak sits atop the Cruiserweight division as a no-nonsense heel. After winning the title at Stomping Grounds, he successfully defended it at Extreme Rules and is eyeing his next challenger. Enter Oney Lorcan, one of the more recent additions to 205 Live. Lorcan became the number-one contender after winning a six-pack challenge. Lorcan's hard-hitting style will go up against Gulak's technical prowess this Sunday.

KEVIN OWENS vs SHANE MCMAHON - IF OWENS LOSES HE QUITS

Shane McMahon has run rampant on both Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live in recent months, proclaiming he's the "best in the world."

Kevin Owens is sick of Shane's antics and wants him to go away and stop taking time from other superstars, especially on SmackDown Live. Shane accepted KO's challenge for a match at SummerSlam, but only if Owens quits the company when he loses.

GOLDBERG vs DOLPH ZIGGLER

Dolph Ziggler continues to complain that he should be in a more prominent position in the WWE. He started to pick a fight with The Miz - and even Shawn Michaels - before the A-Lister swerved his rival by bringing in Goldberg to take on Dolph.

Ziggler has been talking a lot of trash about former WWE Superstars, but he was especially running down Goldberg. This is Goldberg's chance to shut up the "show stealer."

CHARLOTTE FLAIR vs TRISH STRATUS

Charlotte Flair was shocked to learn she didn't have a SummerSlam match. The six-time women's champion started to proclaim herself as the best women's wrestler of any era. When Hall of Famer, Trish Stratus arrived on SmackDown Live for an interview, Charlotte incited a match with her.

Trish wants to get back in the ring one more time and bring Charlotte down a peg.

AJ STYLES (c) vs RICOCHET - US CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

AJ Styles turned heel on Ricochet after the two traded victories over the U.S. Championship. Now that Styles has the title, and a refreshed Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows at his side, AJ looks to make his faction the most dominant in the company.

Ricochet wants to stop The OC and regaining the US Championship is a good first step.

BAYLEY (c) vs EMBER MOON - SMACKDOWN WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

SmackDown Women's Champion, Bayley wants to build up her brand's division by going up against the best competition.

After dispatching of RAW's Alexa Bliss, she handpicked Ember Moon for a SummerSlam match. Moon proved she won't be a pushover after hitting Bayley with an Eclipse a couple of weeks back, but Bayley gave a receipt a week later after hitting Ember with a Bayley to Belly.

KOFI KINGSTON (c) vs RANDY ORTON - WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton are WWE veterans with plenty of history. In the past, Orton was accused of stopping Kofi's momentum by using his clout backstage. More than 10 years later, Kofi is the WWE Champion and wants to prove to Randy that he's deserving of the title. Orton, on the other hand, wants the world to know Kofi doesn't have what it takes.

BECKY LYNCH (c) vs NATALYA - RAW WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP SUBMISSION MATCH

Natalya earned a RAW Women's Championship match against Becky Lynch and the two have gone back and forth on-camera and on social media. Lynch feels Natalya is just trying to use her to get ahead, while Natalya constantly feels disrespected by "The Man."

Becky accepted Nattie's stipulation to make their fight a submission match to prove whose Finisher is better, the Dis-Arm-Her or the Sharpshooter.

BROCK LESNAR (c) vs SETH ROLLINS - UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

Lesnar cashed-in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Seth Rollins to become Universal Champion once again. After finally defeating Brock at WrestleMania, Seth became the number-one contender after winning a battle royal and vows to win his title back. However, Lesnar has absolutely destroyed "The Architect" in recent weeks, so Seth is going into Sunday battered.

SummerSlam will stream live this Sunday, August 11 at 7 p.m. EDT on the WWE Network.
