WWE 'SummerSlam' 2020: Start Time, Card and How to Watch Online

SummerSlam is the "biggest party of the summer" and comes to WWE fans this weekend with a slate of matches that can change the landscape of both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown.

Asuka will look to become the next double champion on Sunday and prove her dominance over the women's division. Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman are trying to continue their dominant runs as champions against two very game opponents.

There's even the in-ring debut of Dominik Mysterio, the son of Rey Mysterio, and a hair vs hair match between former best friends.

This year's SummerSlam will have it all and will be in front of virtual fans in the Amway Center in Orlando. Here's all the information to watch and check out the entire show online.

WWE SummerSlam 2020 Start Time

SummerSlam will go live from the Amway Center in Orlando on Sunday, August 23. The Kickoff show will start at 6 p.m. EDT with the main show beginning at 7 p.m. EDT.

How To Watch the SummerSlam 2020 Kickoff Show Online

WWE Kickoff shows give background on the matches you'll see on the pay-per-view and you may see a backstage promo or two that will further the story between wrestlers.

The Kickoff shows usually have at least one match that takes place in the hour-long pre-show, but WWE has yet to confirm which match it would be. It's safe to say that a match will happen on the pre-show just be sure to keep an eye on WWE social media to learn more.

Fans can watch the SummerSlam kickoff on the WWE Network, or the promotion's official Twitter, Facebook and Twitch channels.The official WWE YouTube channel will also have the kickoff show.

This year's SummerSlam pay-per-view can only be viewed through the WWE Network. The WWE Network is offering a free trial for one month by signing up with a credit card. Fans can cancel their subscription at any time.

There are eight matches confirmed for this year's SummerSlam event. Six of those matches will be for a championship including the top champs of both the men's and women's divisions.

Asuka will have the busiest day as she takes on both Bayley and Sasha Banks for their respective titles in separate matches. Drew McIntyre will look to vanquish Randy Orton once and for all, and Braun Strowman hopes to show "The Fiend" that he is more of a monster than he is.
