Xbox Games With Gold June 2018 List: 'Sonic' Saves the Month From Being Forgettable

Microsoft has announced the June 2018 list of free games for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Games from the Sonic and Assassin's Creed franchises are included with this month's offering, but they aren't main games in either series.

As always, the games for Xbox 360 are backward compatible with the Xbox One, meaning those with the latest Microsoft console can play all four games on the list. Without further ado, here are the games coming this month.

The full list of games included with an Xbox Live subscription for June 2018 includes:

Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia starts the month of June for Xbox One owners. This 2D take on the Assassin's Creed franchise features assassin Nikolai Orelov in early 20th Century Russia. It's the final chapter in the Assassin's Creed Chronicles trilogy, and is available from June 1 to June 30.

The Smite Gold Bundle is the second game offered for Xbox One subscribers in June. While Smite is technically a free-to-play game, the Gold Bundle includes more than $100 worth of content. This includes Gods, items, skins, announcer packs and more. The Gold Bundle will be available from June 16 to July 15.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is Xbox 360's first game for June. This kart racer features Sonic and the gang racing in karts, boats and planes. Not only are there multiple vehicles, players often switch between vehicles mid-race. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is available June 1 to June 15.

Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues is the final game offered for Xbox Live Gold subscribers in June. Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues features scenes from all four of the Indiana Jones movies, along with two-player split-screen gameplay. It is available to download from June 16 to June 30.
