Xbox Series X Restock Update for Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Target, GameStop and More

There haven't been many Xbox Series X restocks lately, but there is one taking place today at Best Buy.

Here is the latest restock information for every major U.S outlet.

Walmart Xbox Series X Restock

While you can technically buy a standalone Xbox Series X from Walmart right now, you might notice that it is considerably overpriced.

This is because the retail chain lets third parties trade on its website and scalpers will often take advantage of the opportunity. As such, it's not uncommon to find second-hand consoles being traded for upwards of $1,000 here.

If you would rather wait for the next official restock (so that you can buy directly from Walmart itself and get a fairer deal), these usually take place every other Thursday at 3 p.m. ET.

With that in mind, it's probably worth keeping an eye on the retailer's website this afternoon (September 23).

Best Buy Xbox Series X Restock

As we reported in our latest PS5 restock update, Best Buy is selling next-gen consoles in several outlets across the country today.

Both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X are included in this event, but you won't be able to order either of them online. Instead, you will have to physically visit a participating store.

More details, including a full list of these "flagship" locations, can be found on Best Buy's website.

Target Xbox Series X Restock

Over the last few months, Target has gradually phased out nationwide restocks.

Instead, the chain now allows individual locations to release their Xbox Series X supplies on their own schedules. This naturally makes it rather difficult to predict when the console will be available in any given region.

The only way of knowing for sure is to regularly check the inventories of stores nearby to you. This can be done on Target's website, where there is a ZIP-code function that you can use to narrow down your search results.

We have found that if they are going to update their Xbox Series X inventories most stores will do so first thing in the morning.

Sam's Club Xbox Series X Restock

Sam's Club was last selling the Xbox Series X on Monday, September 20.

For $589.98 you were able to order the next-gen console in a bundle with a PDP ultra-slim charger and a RIG 400 wired headset. According to would-be shoppers on Twitter, this restock was incredibly short-lived and the units were all depleted before most customers even had a chance to add one to their basket.

While the Series X is no longer available at Sam's Club, you can get the all-digital Xbox Series S model instead. If you are willing to settle for this less-powerful hardware, then you can get it with a variety of controller accessories for $324.98.

Amazon Xbox Series X Restock

Amazon is also selling the Xbox Series S at the time of writing.

The cheaper model console is available in a $599 bundle with a three-month subscription to the Xbox Game Pass service, a Kwalicable accessory pack and a spare wireless controller.

According to the relevant product page, there are only a handful of these items left so, if you are interested, then you might want to place an order sooner rather than later.

Microsoft Store Xbox Series X Restock

Microsoft's official Storefront restocked its Xbox Series X inventory on September 16 at 6 p.m. ET.

This was the same day of the week (Thursday) and the exact same time as the outlet's previous drop, indicating that we could be seeing a new pattern emerging.

If Microsoft Store restocks are going to be occurring on Thursdays at 6 p.m. ET from now on, then it might be worth keeping eye on the website this evening, just in case.

Newegg Xbox Series X Restock

It has been an unusually long time since any next-gen consoles were featured in one of Newegg's shuffle draws.

Once again, there are no Xbox Series X or PS5 bundles in today's lottery. Instead, there is only the usual assortment of gaming PC components.

You are able to browse elsewhere on Newegg's website to see if there are any second-hand Xbox units for sale. However, it is worth bearing in mind that these will be traded by third-party scalpers for a grossly inflated rate.

For example, there is currently a standalone Xbox Series X listed for $959.95, which is nearly double the recommended manufacturer's price.

Antonline Xbox Series X Restock

As per our last update, the Xbox Series X remains out of stock at Antonline.

On the brighter side, there are still a few Series S bundles available. Each of these ships with a wired Nkyo headset and a spare controller (in either Shock Blue, Electric Yellow or Carbon Black). The bundles are all equally priced at $364.94.

GameStop Xbox Series X Restock

GameStop only just restocked on the Xbox Series X last Thursday. As such, it is quite unlikely that there will be another drop this week.

Most U.S outlets replenish their console inventory on a fortnightly basis, so we would advise that you look out for GameStop's next restock closer to Thursday, September 30.
