On Monday, Judge Carlos A. Samour dismissed a fourth juror from the trial of James Holmes. Holmes is accused of killing 12 and injuring dozens of people in an attack on an Aurora, Colorado, movie theater.

Last week, three jurors were released from duty because they had seen media reports of the trial.

The fourth juror, a woman who was not further identified, was released because she may have been exposed to media reports and because her brother-in-law was shot during an armed robbery. The shooting could impact her view of the trial, the judge decided.

Twenty jurors and alternates remain.
