'Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links' 5D's World Gets September Release Date

Konami finally announced the release date for the 5D's world in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links, which will include Synchro Summoning, along with new Duelists and cards to unlock. After weeks of speculation and leaks, 5D's is coming to the mobile and PC versions of Duel Links starting Sept. 25. Like when the GX world was released, players will need to be at a certain Duel Level to unlock, but once they are, they can travel to Neo Domino City to play as Yusei Fudo, Crow Hogan and more.

The only confirmed characters are Yusei, Crow and Akiza Izinski, which likely means they will be the first three duelists unlocked through missions. However, if you take a look at the Japanese trailer below, you can see that Leo, Luna and Jack Atlas will also be among the first batch of new duelists in the 5D's world.

All of the 5D's characters will have fully voiced phrases from the anime and unique monster summons, which you can see in trailer above. The confirmed animated summons are as follows: Stardust Dragon for Yusei, Blackwing Dragon for Crow, Red Dragon Archfiend for Jack, Black Rose Dragon for Akiza, Power Tool Dragon for Leo and Ancient Fairy Dragon for Luna.

According to The Organization, Konami will gift Duel Links players with 1000 Gems, a Dream UR Ticket to pick any Ultra Rare card from past packs and the Synchro Monster - and one of Yusei's signature monsters - Junk Warrior.
